where am I > About Us / Company History
Propel Systems was originally set up by a group of IT
professionals who had seen the inside of many IT departments – and decided that
there just had to be a better way or working.
We created Cimera with the intention of it being a very
flexible tool for managing all the “things” that need managing in the complex
world of writing & testing software; to extract the masses of data that is
embedded in spreadsheets, databases, email folders & other tactical tools
and secure it in a central, intelligent, state of the art repository. Every
company we'd worked in and researched was different and had different
requirements and processes, so by making it flexible enough for the IT world we
ended up creating a generic tool that enables the efficient managing of, well,
anything for anyone.
So although our roots & passion remain with empowering IT
staff and enabling them to stop wasting time searching for whatever it is they
are looking for and getting them back to what they are good at, we are now in a
position to help companies of all sizes, to help their staff get back to what
they are paid to do, to get back to being productive.
Today we can help companies large and small, IT departments
and technophobes. Anyone who has data that needs managing properly.
