Every Cimera-based solution begins with a rich feature set:
Item types, attributes, relationship, lifecycles, security
groups and roles and screen layout are all configurable using the comprehensive
administration system. Cimera plug-ins can also be easily developed to add
extra functionality. These plug-ins are security-aware to ensure that only the
intended users with the right roles can access their functionality.
Cimera’s flexibility comes from its meta-data driven design.
Item types, attributes, relationship, lifecycles, security groups and roles,
screen layout; they’re all configurable through XML formatted meta-data.
When meta-data configuration doesn’t provide enough
flexibility then Cimera plug-ins can be easily developed.
With plug-ins you can add extra functionality, such as custom actions when the
user right clicks selected items. You can replace screens and add custom
reports.
Plug-ins are security-aware so you can ensure that only the
intended users with the right roles can use their functionality
