Cimera is a client server Windows application. This means that
the main part of Cimera is installed on a server, where the data lives and most
of the work is done, and the “presentation layer” is installed on each PC that
will be used to access it.
The server and each client need to have the .Net Framework 1.1
installed
The server needs an OLEDB compliant database (e.g. Oracle, SQL
Server, MS Access) and needs to be visible to all the clients either across a
lan or across the internet.
Propel Systems are able to host the server on their own
equipment in a secure data centre if that is a requirement.
