Copy

 

One or more items may be put onto the Cimera Clipboard by selecting Copy to Clipboard from the item's right-click menu.

 

This will also add the item to Cimera's Recent list.

 

In addition the textual representation of the item(s) (the Object Spec(s)) will be added to the standard Windows Clipboard where the list may be pasted in other application such as Outlook or Word.

 

Paste

 

The item on the Clipboard can then be pasted on the Update Item form when creating a relationship between the item being updated and the item on the Clipboard.

 

 

If there is no Valid Link between the 2 items (i.e. you are trying to create an invalid relationship) then an Invalid Target Item Type error will be raised and the paste will fail.

 

Note:

 

The Cimera Clipboard is a completely different feature to the standard Windows Clipboard.
