When a Workflow item at a Workflow status is Assigned the Cimera Messaging Manager sends an email informing the Assignee that activity is now required on the Item.

 

If the item is Assigned to a User an email is sent to the User.

 

If an item is promoted to a workflow state then an email is sent to the assigned User.

 

If the user assigns the item to himself then no email is sent on the basis that the user already knows about it.

 

If the item is Assigned to a Group an email is sent to the Email Notifyees specified for that group (See Process Modeller > Groups in the Administration Guide).
