The Hide Items in final State option from the View menu tells Cimera to neither retrieve nor display any items that have been promoted into their final state. thus improving clarity and reducing unnecessary server IO and data traffic.
The final state in the Lifecycle of an Item Type is one that means it is no longer of interest.
This is a default setting that will be generally applied throughout Cimera. When viewing lists within Cimera you will often see a toolbar button that can override this default setting just for that particular list:
In some cases the Cimera Administrator may have set a behaviour for a particular list but the option always exists for the user to change to show or hide the final state items.
